What's New [01/08/07] The website for Anderson Wireless Center has been updated [01/08/07] Course info for ECE 7860 is posted Check back for more news
I am interested in electromagnetic theory, numerical methods and microwave circuits. Please check out Anderson Wireless Lab and Antennas and Millimeter-Wave Lab for information about our facility.
We are developing meshed patch antennas that can be directly integrated to solar cells of a satellite. The antenna is transparent to light so that it does not obstruct the function of the solar cell.
We are interested in a multi-band communication system. Currently we are working on a design of multi-band microwave filters, we are planning investigate multi-band antennas and power amplifiers.
I would like to thank Prof. Anthony Martin at Clemson University for offering his class notes. You will need Matlab for this course, please be sure you have an access to a computer that has Matlab. Click here for the syllabus. Click here for the course website.
I would like to thank Prof. Chalmers M. Butler at Clemson University for sharing his class notes. You will be doing lots of programming if you take this course, and you are expected to be familiar wiht one of the following programming languages. Matlab, Fortran, C/C++ You are advised to get started in warming up with your programming skills before you sit in the classroom. Click here for the syllabus. Click here for the course website.
I would like to thank Prof. Cynthia Furse at University of Utah for sharing her notes, laboratories, and lots of ideas. This class is taught by using Blackboard Vista. All the class notes, examples, and lab reports template will be uploaded on the course site. Click here for the syllabus. Click here for downloads.
I would like to thank Prof. Chalmers M. Butler at Clemson University for sharing his class notes. You will learn the following in this class: (1) Understand the analysis of boundary value problems; (2) Formulate Green’s functions for various electromagnetic sources; (3) Understand mode theory; (4) Calculation of special functions, precision in numerical analysis; (5) Spherical wave equations and their solutions; (5) Validation of the analysis with numerical methods (for ECE 6930 and 7930 only).. The following knowledge is required before taking this class. Maxell's Equations, Complex Variables, Special Functions, Matlab or Fortran or C/C++ You are advised to get started in warming up with your programming skills before you sit in the classroom.
